J Balvin wants to have a huge pop single sung completely in Spanish. This hasn’t happened since 1986 when Los Lobos had a #1 hit with “La Bamba”. Balvin may be on his way with “I Like It” (sung partially in Spanish) by Cardi B with Balvin and Bad Bunny. Balvin says “I wanna make history, I wanna tell my kids, one day when I have them…’Yo, I did this”. Another thing he can tell his kids about is being the subject of YouTube’s documentary series ‘Artist Spotlight Story: Redefining Mainstream”, out this week. Balvin has garnered 5 Billion (yeah that’s with a B) views on YouTube in 2018 alone. Congrats go out to J for his success.
